NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) has released its date for the NIFT 2024 Examination. The examination will be conducted on February 5, 2024 . The date for submission of application form began on December 5, 2023 followed by the last date on January 3, 2024.To know more about the NIFT Examination, refer to the official website.

Application form for NIFT 2024 is available online from December 5, 2023 to January 3, 2023. The information provided by the candidate when filling out the NIFT 2024 application form are verified by NIFT officials before any candidate is considered for admission from June 5-12 (6 pm).The verification of original documents is conducted online. Note that at the time of counseling registration, the candidate is required to upload documents. Also, if the certificates are in any other language than Hindi/ English, then a certified translation in Hindi/ English produced duly verified by the issuing institution/ gazetted officer. If the candidate fails to produce the translation, the candidate may be denied admission. 

The application process for NIFT 2024 will be conducted online. After completing the application process, inclduing payment of fees, the candidate must download a printout of the application form.In fact, the NIFT prospectus prescribes the candidate to “apply on time and keep a printout / photocopy of application form for further reference along with proof of payment.”The NIFT 2024 application form is for admission to the B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M courses. There are 18 participating NIFTs that currently have a combined intake of 5.215 seats.

The application edit window for NID DAT 2024 will open soon after the application form closes. Using the application edit window, the candidate will be able to edit details like their address, applied category, exam centre, etc. However, the candidate can't change the Programme Applied in, Name of the Candidate, Date of Birth, Registered Mobile Number, and Registered Email ID. Also, if the candidate changes their applied category, the applicable application fees have to be paid by the candidate. Further, no refund of fees will be made in case of any category change.  

NIFT 2024 application form will be released in the month of December 2023 (3rd week). So, the fee details will be available at that time. However present fee details are given below.Gen/OBC: INR 3000SC/ST/PWD: INR 1500

Yes, the candidate will be given the option to edit the NIFT 2024 application form soon after the application process is over.

The NIFT 2024 application fee is category-specific. The application fee for General/OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS Category. Meanwhile, those belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD Category need to pay only INR 1,500. The application fee has to be paid online using net banking, credit, or debit cards. The application fee will have to be paid at the time of filling out the NIFT 2024 application form. Note that payment made using demand draft will not be accepted.

When filling out the NIFT 2024 application form, you will have to upload your photograph and signature. The accepted specifications for the documents are mentioned below. Photograph - Upload only a recent scanned passport size color photograph. The accepted file size should be no more than 100KB. The accepted format is jpeg only. Signature - The scanned signature should be in Blue/Black ink on white background. The accepted file size is 100KB (maximum). The file should be in jpeg format only.
