NIFT Dates

The NIFT important dates for a particular year generally include the following information:
Release of Application Form: The date when the application form for NIFT entrance exams will be made available. This includes both online and offline application modes. Last Date to Apply: The deadline by which candidates need to submit their completed application forms. It is important to submit the application before this date to be considered for the exam. Admit Card Availability: The date when the admit cards or hall tickets for the NIFT Entrance Exam will be released. Admit cards contain essential information such as the exam center, timing, and candidate details. Entrance Exam Date: The date on which the NIFT Entrance Exam will be conducted. The important dates of NIFT 2025 will cover the entire admission schedule of NIFT 2025 admission process. The important dates will therefore cover events like release of admission notification, application form, and admit cards, conduct of the exam, declaration of results, counseling schedule, and date of commencement of classes. The candidate by consulting the important dates will know in advance about an upcoming event and so will be able to plan in advance. The exam schedule for NIFT 2025 will be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Note that in some cases previously scheduled event may be postoned, prepponed, or even cancelled. The NIFT exam includes two stages - The candidate first appears in the written exams, and if shortlisted has to next appear in a Situation Test/ Personal Interview (PI).Note that the written exams for the B.Des and M.Des program includes the GAT and CAT, whereas for the other programs the written exam includes only the GAT.The final score for the B. Des programme will be prepared by considering the performance of the candidate in CAT, GAT and the Situation Test. A: The final results of NIFT 2023 were declared on April 28, 2023. Candidates can check their results following the download link given on this page. The final results were prepared considering the performance of the candidate in GAT CAT and Situation Test/ Personal Interview. Consequently, the final results are released only for such candidates who appeared in both the written exam and Situation Test/Personal Interview.
Earlier, the results of the written test for B. Des M.Des M.FTech and MFM courses were declared on March 13, 2023. The scores of the written exam are used to shortlist candidates for Situation Test (B. Des) and Personal Interview.
