Hello,
Candidates must have passed an under graduate degree from any institution/university recognized by law in India or, Candidates who have Diploma in UG design from NIFT/NID only, are eligible or, Candidates who have passed Diploma course of three years from NIFT/NID are also eligible. Thank you.

You can go for the Masters or post graduate Diploma courses in NIFT. As Bachelor courses requires age limit of 23 years, but Masters and PG Diploma does not have any such limitations.

Age Limit for NIFT's Bachelors Programmes: Candidates will be considered eligible to apply for NIFT Entrance Test if they are 23 years of age or below as on October 1, 2018. However, candidates from the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribe/ Differently Able Person (PHP) category will be given age relaxation of five years for admissions. For details, click below:

The eligibility criteria set by NIFT for shortlisting candidates for M.Des has a clause stating that the person should possess a Diploma in UG Design from NIFT or NID only.
