The reporting time for NIFT 2025 entrance exam will be mentioned on the admit card issued to candidates. The candidate will have to select an exam centre for NIFT 2025 when filling out the application form. After completing the registration process, log in to the application portal and click on the exam centre selection option. Then select your preferred city from the drop down menu. The NIFT 2024 exam will be conducted across 37 cities in India. Note that each of these exam cities may have one or more exam centres.

According to the latest brochure by NIFT, there are 60 cities all over India to conduct the NIFT 2024 examination. There are multiple centres in each of these cities. Candidates can choose the cities, but it depends on the NIFT Examination conducting committee to decide the particular centre in the city.The candidates will know about what exam centre they are being allocated to on the admit card. The GAT paper for all the B.Des and M.Des courses was conducted from 9 am - 11 am. Meanwhile, the GAT written exam for B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M. courses was conducted from 9 am - 12 noon.Candidates needed to report to the NIFT 2025 exam centre at least an hour in advance.Note that the CAT paper for the B. Des and M.Des courses was held from 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm.The purpose of reporting early is to complete admission formalities, including registration, frisking, verifying the identity of the candidate, etc. Note that the exam timings and reporting time for the NIFT 2024 exam was mentioned in the admit card.

Note that for NIFT 2023, the GAT written exam was re-conducted for some centres that faced technical issues. NIFT officials notified candidates about the affected centres on its official website. So, a re-exam for NIFT 2024 will only be conducted if candidates arent able to complete the GAT or CAT paper due to a technical or some other issue. In such a scenario, exam officials may decide the re-conduct the NIFT 2024 exam. Note that in the event of a re-exam, NIFT officials may issue fresh admit cards for affected candidates, along with the names of the alloted exam centres.

The NIFT 2024 written exam will comprise of the CAT and GAT. No, candidates are not allowed with an option to change their NIFT exam centre once the admit cards for the Situation Test have been released. So, it is recommended that the candidate takes care when booking a centre. Considering exam centres will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis, it is also advisable to book slots as soon as the slot booking window opens. The admit card for the NIFT Situation Test will be issued soon after the slot booking process is over. The admit card will be issued to all candidates who have qualified in the written exam.

NIFT 2024 Situation Test will be conducted in an offline mode at the various NIFT campuses. Considering there are 18 NIFTs, the candidate will be able to select any of these institutes to appear in the Situation Test. The window to select test centres for the Situation Test will be announced soon after the declaration of NIFT results for the written exam. Test centres for the Situation Test will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. So, candidates need to book their slots as soon as possible. The candidate will be able to check details about the NIFT 2024 exam centre allocated to them through the admit card. The NIFT admit card will contain the name and address of the exam centre allocated to the candidate, along with other details like exam-centre reporting time, exam timings, and instructions to be followed at the exam centre. The NIFT 2024 entrance exam will be conducted tentatively in the 1st week of February 2024. The admit cards will be released a few week before that. Note that on the day of the NIFT exam, the candidate needs to mandatory bring with them the admit card and a valid photo id proof.
