A: The final results of NIFT 2023 were declared on April 28, 2023. Candidates can check their results following the download link given on this page. The final results were prepared considering the performance of the candidate in GAT CAT and Situation Test/ Personal Interview. Consequently, the final results are released only for such candidates who appeared in both the written exam and Situation Test/Personal Interview.

This entrance examination is meant for displaying your creative skills only. NIFT believes in colors so they will judge you more on your colors and harmony other than drawing skills, so you should be creative in your coloring also.

NIFT offers various courses at UG/ PG / Ph.D. level. In addition to these courses NIFT also some courses through its continuing education programme. These courses are available in the stream of fashion, technology, design, management. These courses are offered through 17 campuses and courses avillabity vary from campus to campus. The NIFT's Situation Test scheduled earlier stands CANCELLED. Marks obtained by candidates in the Written Test (GAT & CAT will be considered for declaration of FINAL RESULT and finalizing the MERIT LIST. So the marks obtained in entrance exam plays an important role in selection of candidate. The cutoff of B. Des courses can be varies by 5% from the last year.

Self assessment is the key. You should self assess and understand whether you need to take formal training before the exam. It is advisable to take training for the following reasons 1) the competition is high, hence there is no harm in seeking guidance for preparation if it makes u more confident and skilled 2) like any other competitive exam IIT medical etc. ). NIFT also has its set pattern and hence, training will only help you answer the paper well. There are correspondence courses that you can opt for and learn at the comfort of your home.
