The eligibility conditions for both UG and PG level programs are below:
1. Bachelor of Design B. Des. (Fashion Design/ Knitwear Design/ Textile Design/Leather Design/Accessory Design/Fashion Communication)
Age -Not more than 23 years as on October 1, 2018, for General candidates (Relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/PWD candidates)
Academic Qualification- successfully completed or appearing for 10+2 qualifying examination or equivalent from any recognised Board, or, Completed/Appearing for 3 or 4-years Diploma final examination recognised by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.
2. Bachelor of Fashion Technology (Apparel Technology) B. F. Tech
Age - Not more than 23 years as on October 1, 2018, for General candidates (can be relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST/PWD candidates)
Academic Qualification - Successfully completed or appearing for 10+2 qualifying examination or equivalent from any recognised Board, having studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subject combination, or, Completed/Appearing for 3 or 4-years Diploma in any branch of engineering recognised by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.
3. Master of Design - M.Des. And Master of Fashion Management MFM
Age - No age limit prescribed for PG programs
Academic Qualification - Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a recognised Institute/University, or, Undergraduate Diploma of minimum 3-years duration in any discipline from NIFT/NID
4. Master of Fashion Technology M. F. Tech
Ag e- No age limit prescribed for PG programs
Academic Qualification - B.FTech. From NIFT, or, B.E/B.Tech. From a recognised Institute/University.

If you are in an English medium school, and practice a few comprehensions here and there, you can easily ace the English Comprehension section. For General Knowledge & Current Affairs section, I would ask you to read any national daily every day. Most questions in this section will be related to the fashion industry. For Analytical Ability, solve any book containing Analytical Questions. Questions are very basic. Communication Ability should be a walk in the park if you are decent at English. There is no need to practice any book for this section either. For Quantitative Ability, you can practice a book by R. S. Aggarwal. Though I feel that if you have Mathematics in +2, you need not do so. Finally coming to time management, I think the paper was not at all lengthy. I recall finishing the paper around 2530 minds before it was over. Before you consider me to be very fast, let me tell you I am not so. I barely finished my CBSE Mathematics paper in the nick of time. So be calm. Don't worry so much. You'll do well.
