There is always an entrance, however you enter. You will need to go through the entrance exam for NIFT which is a compulsory test for all. Plus, you need to compete in all forms of the test, i.e. , situation test to get admitted. Then, you will get the seat. The entrance examination for NRIs is termed as SAT.

Hi,NIFT admissions are through entrance. It is an all India basis conducted exam. Admissions are purely on merit. Pune Campus is very popular I demand for admissions so the score has to be quite high to be able to get through this campus. Visit NIFT website for all relevant information.

Hello,If you are thinking of doing both of these courses simultaneously, and if both are regular college courses then I am afraid it would not be feasible. But, if one is distance education then you can think of doing it. Best wishes to you.

Hi,
I'm not getting which NIFT you are talking about as there is NIFT in Gandhinagar, not Gandhidham. So, Gandhinagar NIFT has a total of 239 seats.

The score obtained by various candidates decides the rank obtained by them in NIFT. Candidates in general category will have to secure a fairly low rank in order to get admission in any of the courses.
