As per the NIFT Prospectus-2019, there is no such barrier of the percentage of marks for class 12th exam for B.Des programs. As per eligibility criteria, NIFT needs class 12th pass only. Hence, there is no need to worry about class 12th marks.

As per the last year trends, this is a little bit tough for getting a top NIFT college. However, on the basis of your common merit rank, you have chances in Patna, Srinagar, Bhubaneswar, Kangra and Shillong.

All the NIFTs are good. However, I think Delhi and Mumbai's NIFT have more exposure to the real industry and its people. Placements are good in all even if it's from a small city.
