NIFT Shillong is a relatively new campus but it doesn't lack in providing quality education and though it may not be as famous as NIFT Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore. The flagship campuses already have well-developed structures, academic staff and links to industry and commerce. Even though NIFT of Shillong offers good design and fashion management programs, it may lack a few basic amenities and better placement opportunities as in top B school campuses. However, for students of Northeast India, it still becomes a viable option among all the NIFT campuses.

Group Discussion/Interview: For some programs. It will be noted that direct admission through management quota is rare or can hardly be considered.
