The allotment of seats for NIFT 2025 will be based on the following parameters:Choice opted at the time of counseling registration (academic programs + campuses)The category of the candidateSeat intake in the college opted for admissionNIFT 2025 merit rank of the candidate.NIFT 2025 seat allotment process will be conducted around May 2025. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will conduct counseling registration for NIFT 2025 soon after the declaration of final results.Candidates who have qualified in NIFT 2025 can participate in the counseling process. The NIFT 2025 seat allotment for regular UG & PG courses will be announced in multiple rounds. Candidates who are allotted seats have to pay the seat-acceptance fee by the given deadline. 

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) B.Des selection process includes an entrance exam followed by a merit-based admission process. The NIFT Admissions Test is an important step for candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) program. There is no fixed cut-off rank for the minimum NIFT exam score required for NIFT admission. The required rank depends on a variety of factors, including course, category, and the candidate's preferred campus. In general, the lower the rank, the greater the likelihood of admission to the desired programme and campus. However, a score of at least 100 out of 150 is often considered a safe bet to gain admission to NIFT's top-tier institutions. To be eligible for admission to the B.Des program, candidates must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised institution and have taken physics and mathematics as subjects. The maximum age for admission must be less than 24 years as of August 1 of the year of admission. The NIFT cutoff for the B.Des programme will vary each year depending on the number of applicants, the difficulty of the exam, and the availability of seats. Cutoffs are announced separately for each course (B.Des, B.F.Tech, M.Des, M.F.Tech, MFM) and indicate the minimum rank or score required for admission. The expected cut-off for B.Des in Fashion Design is 100 points and 800 points for Textile Design.

NIFT Bhopal accepts NIFT Cutoff scores for admission to BDes, MDes, BFTech, MFTech, and MFM courses at the UG and PG levels. The NIFT Bhopal Cutoff 2024 has been released upto four rounds, followed by one spot round (Round 5).
