Application form for NIFT 2024 is available online from December 5, 2023 to January 3, 2023. Candidates can go through the official website and fill the application form and make the payment. The NIFT 2024 Examination is scheduled on 5 December 2024. To know more about the NIFT 2024 Examination, refer to the official website.

According to the latest brochure by NIFT, there are 60 cities all over India to conduct the NIFT 2024 examination. There are multiple centres in each of these cities. Candidates can choose the cities, but it depends on the NIFT Examination conducting committee to decide the particular centre in the city.The candidates will know about what exam centre they are being allocated to on the admit card. To know more about the examination, refer to the official website.

Apart from GAT, NIFT also tests its candidates with a Creative Ability Test (CAT ) to test their creative skills, concept observation skills and illustrations based drawings and designs. This exam is conducted through offline pen and paper mode. Candidates will be given 180 minutes (3 hours) for this colour and drawing based examination. A candidate not appearing in this examination, will not have access to situation test for B.Des or M.Des. To know more about NIFT CAT or GAT examination, refer to the official website of NIFT .

Acording to the latest notice by NIFT, the 2024 GAT examination for B.Des programme has a duration on two hours (120 minutes). The examination is conducted through offline mode. Candidates have to appear in the examination centres to give the examination. Maximum weightage of the examination is 100 marks. The admission process of NIFT Mumbai MDes includes appearing for the NIFT Entrance exam followed by the personal interview round. The eligibility criteria of NIFT states that the candidates must have complete their 10+2 in any stream from a recognised Educational Board. Concluding that mathematics is not a compulsary requirement for NIFT. However, the entrance examination for NIFT has a section of mathematics based questions (GAT) which needs basic to moderate mathematics to ace them .
