If you have done a 3-year Diploma in fashion design, you can pursue a B.Design course from NIFT through the lateral entry mode. The lateral entry mode is a special admission process for students who have already completed a Diploma or equivalent course in the same field.To be eligible for the lateral entry mode, you must have a Diploma in fashion design from a recognised institute. You must also have a minimum of 50% marks in your diploma.The application process for the lateral entry mode is the same as the regular admission process. You can apply online through the NIFT website.The selection process for the lateral entry mode includes a written test, a portfolio review, and an interview.
