The details of the allotted exam centre will be mentioned on the NIFT admit card. For instance, the NIFT 2024 admit card will contain the name and address of the exam. In addition, the admit card will also contain the timings of the exam, and at time the candidate needs to report to the NIFT exam centre. Note that once the exam commences, no candidate will be allowed inside the exam hall. So, it is recommended that the candidate reaches the exam centre at least an hour in advance. It is important that the candidate downloads the NIFT admit card as soon as it is released and goes through it carefully. This will ensure the candidate has a smooth exam-day experience by staying out of trouble.

The admit card for the NIFT 2024 exam has to be downloaded online from the NTA NIFT admission portal - exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT. In.Note that hard copies of the admit card will not be sent to the candidate.So, the candidate needs to log-in to the admit card download portal using their log-in details and download the admit card pdf. After downloading the admit card, the candidate needs to take a printout. On the day of the exam, the candidate will have to display the admit card along with a valid photo id proof in the original. No candidate will be allowed inside the exam venue without the admit card.Also, note that digital copies of the admit card will not be accepted.

The NIFT 2024 admit card for the Situation Test will be released around the 3rd week of March 2024. Meanwhile, admit cards for the Personal Interview will be released around the 3rd week of March 2024. Admit cards will be released to shortlisted candidates who had completed the slot booking/ campus selection process. The National Institute of Fashion Technology will release the slot booking schedule soon after the declaration of results for the NIFT 2024 written exams. All candidates who get shortlisted can book their slots. To download the admit card, the candidate will have to go to the NIFT admission portal, click on the admit card download link, and log in using their candidate log-in details.

During the Situation Test, the candidate will be provided with a set of materials. Using these materials the candidate will be required to make specific models. In this test, candidates are required to create a 3D model based on the question asked for which they are given 2 hours, within which, they need to conceptualize and complete the model. After completing the mode, the candidate will also have to draft a write-up, which is evaluated by the jury later. Note that besides material exploration & management skills, NIFT also lays great emphasis on time management skills and students are closely monitored on the fact that whether they have managed to complete the task at hand in two hours or not.
