NIFT Kangra is generally considered a Tier 2 institution within the National Institute of Fashion Technology system. While it offers quality education and has gained recognition, it does not yet match the prominence of Tier 1 institutes like NIFT Delhi or NIFT Mumbai. However, NIFT Kangra is known for its strong focus on design education, practical exposure, and placements, making it a viable choice for aspiring fashion professionals.
