Yes, You are eligible for the NIMCET exam. For NIMCET There is no such criteria of eligibility that you have CS paper. The only Criteria is that You have overall 60% plus or 6 CGPA marks in your undergraduate course as well as at least one maths or statistics paper in any year or semester of your Undergraduate course. Hoping your doubt would be cleared.

Yes you are eligible for NIMCET for admission in to their MCA programme. The eligibility criteria of NIMCET is given below. Eligibility criteria : Indian Nationals securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST/PwD) in (I) B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT / B.Voc. (Computer Science/ Computer Applications) of minimum three years full-time programme from a recognised University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects
or (ii) B.E. / B.Tech. From a recognised University.

AICTE approval is not necessary for recognised Universities because these are established under UGC act. However colleges affiliated to Universities needs AICTE approval for running Engineering courses. The eligibility criteria of NIMCET is given below. Eligibility criteria B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time from a recognised University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects (candidates from open universities are also eligible) or B.E. / B.Tech.
