Yes. A candidate's NIMCET score will be valid, but the provisional candidature may be cancelled by the institute. However, the candidates may face problems during the NIMCET counselling and admission process. For admissions, the candidates are required to fulfil  the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the information brochure of NIMCET. Candidates are also advised to contact the authorities regarding their situation and know their admission status and what their next steps should be.

The result of NIMCET will be valid for one year. Candidates are advised to preserve the NIMCET result throughout the counselling, seat allotment, and final admission procedures.

Ideally, one should preserve the NIMCET result or the mark sheet carefully as one of the most important academic documents, ideally, throughout student life, followed by career tenure.

Generally, the exam conducting authorities for NIMCET do not send the mark sheet by post but they may inform the test-takers about their result through SMS or email on their registered mobile number and email the mark sheet. To be sure, candidates should download the NIMCET mark sheet and take multiple print outs till the admission process is over.

The candidates should tally their scores and ranks and then check the counselling opportunities at the participating institutes. The exam authority will release the NIMCET result online at the official website. Candidates declared qualified will be eligible to participate in the NIMCET counselling process. Candidates will have to carry their documents and scorecard when they appear in NIMCET counselling.
