The minimum NIMCET 2017 cutoff for OBC candidates was 100 marks out of 360. This cutoff was considered for admission to various M.Tech and M.Arch programs in the participating NITs. It is important to note that the cutoff varies each year and depends on several factors, such as the number of candidates, the difficulty level of the exam, and the seats available in each category.

NIMCET syllabus focuses more on the theoretical and problem solving work of the students while BSc IT/BTech CS are more leaning into skill based and practical syllabus. Many topics which are known to be more theoretical are hence included into NIMCET syllabus while they are skipped from BSc IT/BTech understandably.

No, candidates are not allowed to choose the date and time of the counselling process, as the schedule is decided by the exam-conducting body. The authorities will announce the NIMCET 2025 counselling dates. Candidates will have to register online and participate in the NIMCET counselling process by paying the fee and filling out their choices. Candidates who will be declared qualified on the basis of NIMCET results are eligible to participate in the counselling. The allotment of seats will be based on the marks secured in the NIMCET 2025 exam. NIMCET counselling will be conducted in four rounds.

The candidates should first check the option of re-evaluating of the paper on the official website. In case such information is not available, then they can contact the NIMCET conducting authority and request for reviewing the paper.
