You are eligible for NIMCET. The eligibility criteria of NIMCET is given below. Eligibility criteria:
1. Candidates who have passed B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons)/BCA/BIT of a minimum of three years from a recognised university are eligible to apply.
2. The candidates must have studied Mathematics/Statistics in the B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons)/BCA/BIT programme.

The candidate must have passed the qualifying exam and hold a B.Sc. (Hons), BCA or BIT degree from an accredited university with mathematics or Statistics as one of the disciplines. Or Candidates can apply for the NIMCET 2023 if they have a B.E. Or B.Tech.

NIMCET is a national-level common entrance test conducted for admission to Masters in Computer Application MCA programs in the participatory NITs. According to the eligibility criteria for this exam, you are eligible to take NIMCET since the applicant must have a graduation degree in either B.Sc. , B.Tech. , B.E. , BIT, BBA or BCA from any recognised institution with at least a 60% aggregate score. Therefore, if your aggregate is 60% in your graduation degree, BCA and you have mathematics or Statistics as mandatory subjects, you are eligible irrespective of your 12th-grade score.

The National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test NIMCET is an exam conducted by NIT Jamshedpur for admissions to MCA programmes. Candidates have to clear the NIMCET exam with a good rank to get allotted seats at various campuses of NITs. No, it's mandatory in your graduation means in BCA you would have mathematics as your subject, 12 th aggregate doesn't matter here. You can apply.

Yes, B.Sc. CS hons have Maths subject as you can take generic elective as Maths in B.Sc. CS (hons). Also you learn subjects of Maths in CS itself like discrete Maths and other subjects. So you can give NIMCET.

Hi. The NIT Jamshedpur will declare the NIMCET 2022 first round allotment on July 14 on the official website NIMCET. Candidates could register for the round 1 NIMCET counselling 2022 process till July 12. Candidates have to fill in their preferred choices during the NIMCET 2022 counselling. NIMCET counselling 2022 second round seat allotment is on July 21, 2022
Second round of online verification of the documents for fresh allotted students is on July 22 to 27, 2022.

No, with B.Sc Biotechnology you are not applicable for NIMCET.
Minimum educational qualification - Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST) in (I) B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Equivalent subject as one of the subjects from a recognized University. Students with BE/B Tech or equivalent from a recognized University can appear for the exam.
