Candidates must have secured least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scales (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale in case of SC/ ST) in B.Sc / B.Sc Hons / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full time with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Equivalent subject, as one of the subject from a recognized University. So, as long you fulfil the criteria even though you have done B.Sc IT, you are eligible.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the NIMCET exam. Kindly check the NIMCET Eligibility Criteria 2018
Candidates must be Indian nationals. They should be graduation degree holders (BCA/B.Sc (Hons. )/B.Sc/BIT) as per 10+2+3 pattern from a recognised university. Candidates must have studied Mathematics or Statistics or equivalent subject during graduation. Candidates belonging to General category are required to score a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA score in aggregate of all subjects. The best option would be to join a coaching institute. They will tutor you accordingly and they will helo you to understand complex concepts while preparing. Be prepared to give your best and study your BCA course thoroughly too. Study at least 2 to 3 hours daily and solve practice papers.
