According to ASSOCHAM India, NIMS University Jaipur is among the "Best Private Universities of the year 2018". The same group also names it the "Best Private University for Skill Development." NIMS Jaipur was named the "Best Private University in India" by AICTE in 2017. It is one of the biggest private universities in India, offering every course under the eight main streams. MJRPU is far superior when it comes to placement compared to NIMS Institute of Engineering and Technology and NIMS University, an average pay package for a MJRPU student is Rs 8 Lacs compared to NIMS Institute of Engineering and Technology, NIMS University (NIMS IET) student having an average pay package of Rs 6 lakhs.Besides that, it has better placement ratio as compared to NIMS Institute of Engineering and Technology and NIMS University. In 2023, roughly 80 percent of MJRPU students got placed, whereas approximately seventy percent of NIMS Institute of Engineering and Technology, NIMS University students got placed.
