The NIOS offers a choice in the medium of studies at the secondary level in English Hindi Urdu, Marathi, Odia, Telugu, Gujarati, Tamil, Malayalam and Punjabi medium. Students can choose accordingly at the secondary level. The learner is free to choose any one of these mediums for studies. At Class 12 level, the course is offered only Hindi English Urdu mediums. The NIOS released the date sheet for theory and practical exam April session 2024 in March 2024. NIOS date sheet 2024 was released on the official website, sdmis.nios.ac.in. NIOS 10th practical exam 2024 was held from March 11 to March 27, 2024. NIOS 10th exam 2024 was held from April 6 to May 22, 2024.In 2023, the date sheet for April-May exam was released in March 2023. NIOS 10th practical examinations for March 2023 were held between March 16 and 31, 2023. NIOS 10th Theory exams 2023 were held from April 6 to May 8, 2023.

NIOS examinations are conducted twice in a year, March/April and Oct/Nov. The admissions for Block-I usually start during mid-March and continue until the mid of September for the March-April examinations, while for the October examinations, the admissions commence from the very next day the Block-I admission concludes, that is, from the mid of September until the mid of March of the following year. The NIOS exam April 2023 started on April 6. It concluded on May 8, 2023. The date sheet for the NIOS 10th exam April/May was out in March 2023.

There are chances of any misprint or error in the NIOS 10th mark sheet pertaining to either personal details or marks. Then the candidates need to contact the NIOS officials immediately. They should request the authorities to issue a fresh mark sheet. They should get the errors rectified as early as possible. Hence students are advised to verify the NIOS marksheet soon they receive it.

Candidates who are unable to secure pass marks in the NIOS Class 10 exam have to appear for the improvement exam or the Compartment exam. They have to apply for the same by paying the exam fee. In case the subject has both theory and practical parts, then the student has to take both the theory and practical exams. The application form for NIOS Improvement exams will be available on the official website. The NIOS board will release notification regarding the improvement exam after the release of the NIOS 10th result.

The M and M Unit, Department of Evaluation, NIOS prepares the NIOS class 10 and NIOS Class 12 marksheet. NIOS Marksheet will be issued to successful students only. They have to visit the respective Accredited Institute (AIs) soon after the NIOS Result 2023 Class 10 and NIOS Result 2023 Class 12, to collect their mark sheets. NIOS Result 2023 Class 10 October session was released on December 26, 2023. Students have to visit the official website of NIOS and enter the required credentials. They can also check the NIOS 10th result 2023 by SMS and Digilocker facility. Students must secure their NIOS Result 2023 Class 10 provisional marksheet for immediate references. You can reevaluate your NIOS 10th exam answer sheet. The fees for revaluation is INR 800 per subject. Students who wish to apply for re-checking of their NIOS Result 10th Class 2023 will be able to apply within 15 days after the declaration of the result. Application fee for re-checking result has to be paid online. Students can find NIOS notification regarding the revaluation of answer sheet on the official website, after the release of the result.
