Listed below are the minimum criteria which candidates interested in pursuing the course are required to fulfill, in order to be eligible to apply for the course:

That's right you can do PCM from NIOS or UP Board. They just need you to have PCM at 10+2 level. It is irrespective of what board you come from. Go ahead.

Hi Amit,
Although, NIOS is a recognised education board and usually, most institutes will accept your NIOS qualification, yet I would suggest you to contact the institute directly for a clear information.

Hi Chandramani,
The main difference in the certificates provided by CBSE and NIOS is that the former one provides them by school teaching method while the latter one gives them by distance mode of education. In CBSE, students have to attend school and the examinations are conducted in regular intervals for getting the pass certificate. In NIOS, students have to prepare from home and give the examination for the whole syllabus at mentioned dates. BCA Course: Eligibility
Candidates who wish to pursue BCA course must fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria. Pass in 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognised board of education. English as a subject of study. A minimum aggregate score of 45% at 10+2 level.
