Admission to all the NIPS Hotel Management courses is primarily merit-based. Admission to BBA at NIPS Hotel Management is not done based on the scores obtained in any Entrance Exam. The admission is done based on the class 12th scores. The candidates must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 45% aggregate in any stream from any recognized board.

The application fee for the BBA programme at NIPS Hotel Management in Bhubaneswar is RS. 600. To submit the application successfully, application fee has to be paid. Students can pay the application fee via credit card/debit card/net banking or in another mode as prescribed by the institute. The NIPS Hotel Management Bhubeneswar placement report is not yet out, but as per the students and the alumni, around 70% to 80% of the students is getting placed in an average. The base minimum placement goes from INR 3 Lacs per annum to INR 6 Lacs per annum. Some of the students also grabbed some international packages with packages above INR 15 LPA to INR 20 LPA.
