No, candidates who wish to take admission to MBA and MBA HRM course, need to have a CAT score. For MBA Family Business and Entrepreneurship, candidates have to qualify an entrance exam conducted by Institute of Management, Nirma University. The university does not accepts NMAT score for MBA admission. Apart from entrance exam, shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview round. The final selection will be based on academic performance, PI performance and entrance exam score.

The accepted entrance exam for Nirma University admission to MBA and MBA HRM is CAT. For MBA FBE, aspirants need to take the entrance test conducted by the Institute of Management, Nirma University in Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Mumbai centres. The university considers CAT score and university entrance-exam score to offer admission. In 2019, Nirma University's cutoff for the BTech course was 524 for the CSE branch, 2714 for Chemical Engineering, 3072 for ME, and 3244 for the ECE branch as per unofficial sources.

No, the university grant admission in BTech programmes based on JEE (Mains) score. Hence, only the students who have taken the national-level exam can apply.
