All Indian nationals who secured at least 60 per cent marks in aggregate of 6.5 CGPA or more on a 10-point scale in their graduation*, are eligible to apply for NIMCET 2017. For SC and ST candidates, the minimum eligibility will be scaled down to 55 per cent marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale! If you meet this criteria you are eligible for NIMCET. Good Luck!

Hello Tapas,
MAT score is only valid for the current you are giving. Hence, if you want to make your score secure for some time, then go for GMAT, as there you will have a chance to study abroad.
All the best.

Special round is the last round of counseling, and it's especially for students who have not yet allotted any seat from previous counselling rounds. So, to make sure students should not be left behind and seats to be full filled special round is taken by Colleges. Regards.

To take admission in any NIT, you must score good marks in JEE Mains Paper 1. Without clearing JEE Mains, you cannot take admission in any NIT and 12th marks do not affect your admission in NIT.
