Yes, with AJEE Main rank of more than 51,000 in the SC category, you are eligible for admission to National Institute of Technology (NITs) through JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counseling. NITs reserve a certain percentage of seats for candidates belonging to different categories, including SC category candidates. The cutoff ranks for each branch in each NIT also vary for different categories, depending on the total number of applicants and the availability of seats. For general category students, the eligibility criteria for admission to NITs is a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in the 12th standard board exam or being in the top 20 percentile in their respective board exams. However, for SC/ST/PwD candidates, the eligibility criteria is 65% aggregate marks in the 12th standard board exam. So basically if you come under the SC/ST/PwD candidates then your are eligible for NIT college.

Admission to NITs and IITs is based on the performance of candidates in the Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main and Advanced respectively. To be eligible for JEE Main a candidate must have passed their class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Additionally, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST) or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective board examination. The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech programs in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other government engineering colleges are as follows:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) relaxed the 75 per cent marks in class 12 as an eligibility criterion for admission to NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) in which admission is done on the basis of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) main scores.
