Hello Suraj,
I think your eyesight is not going to be an issue as NITs don't have separate eligibility criteria for that. You need to have a good score in JEE Mains with 75% in boards.
However, you need to have a good eyesight if you opt for courses like mining, petroleum, geology, machinery, etc.

Yes, you can apply for JEE Mains next year to get admission in any other NIT.

Hello Diksha,
Yes, you can take admission into NITs and IITs after doing graduation but not for undergraduate courses. You can enroll for any post graduate courses after clearing the respective exams.

Hello Dhananjay,
The minimum eligibility marks to get an NIT is to have at least 75% in board exams (for general category), or 65% (for SC, ST and PWD candidates).
Even if you don't meet the above criteria, you should be in the top 20 percentile that is the top 20% students from your board.So only if you meet the above requirements you are eligible to get admission into NITs.

Hello Abhishek,
For admission into NITs, a minimum 75% marks are needed for general category students and minimum 65% needed for sc category students. So as per your marks, your chances are nil for NITs.

You need to score around or more than 260 marks to get into top NITs for CSE and around 250 for other branches. Also, I am talking about the candidates of general category, hope you are clear about it. Good luck!

NIT counselling is an online process.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be the responsible authority for the counselling and seat allotment of JEE Main 2017. JEE Main 2017 counselling and seat allotment will be held in seven rounds.
