NIT Hamirpur BArch admission is based on a candidate’s performance in JEE Main Paper-II. Further, eligible and JEE Main-qualified aspirants need to qualify for course and college-specific cut off rank released by JoSAA through seven rounds of counselling.

The total tuition fee for NIT Hamirpur MBA course is INR 1.4 lakh. Moreover, the applicants also have to pay the application fee, which is INR 1,200 for general category students. To be eligible for NIT Hamirpur MBA programme, a candidate needs to pass a bachelor’s/ professional degree from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45 per cent for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates). Candidates, appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree/ equivalent qualification or awaiting result, are also eligible to apply.

NITs are one of the top BTech offering institutions in India. It provides excellent placement support. As per some media reports, the institute has kicked start the recruitment process for the class of 2023. As of now, the offered average and the highest package stood at INR 12.84 LPA and INR 52 LPA, respectively. Further, as per the reports, the number of recruiters that visited the campus rose by 20% and the count stood at 36. The flagship programme of NIT Hamirpur is BTech which is offered in full-time mode only across nine specialisations. The programme is offered for a duration of four years, comprising eight semesters. All the BTech courses are offered in a full-time mode. Admission is through JEE Main scores and there is no other provision to seek admission in a BTech programme at NIT Hamirpur.

Presently, NIT Hamirpur offers more than 30 UG, PG and doctoral degrees, including BTech, BArch, BTech-MTech (Dual Degree), MTech, MBA, MSc and PhD. The courses are offered in the streams of Engineering, Science, Planning, Architecture, Management and Social Sciences. Furthermore, the UG, PG and doctoral courses are offered in multiple specialisations, including Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, etc.
