Yes, the technology institute offers a two-year MBA course in Humanities and Management specialisation. The total seat intake for this course is 76. Admission to the programme is entrance-based. Selected candidates also have to go through group discussions and personal interview rounds. In addition, NIT Jalandhar also offers a one-year PGDM course in Humanities and Management.

The total tuition fee for the four-year BTech course is INR 1.67 lakh. Additionally, the hostel charges are up to INR 68,000 and a one-time fee payment of INR 5,000 also has to be done. The total course fee will include other components as well. These mentioned fee details are further for General/OBC category students, whose annual family income is between INR 1 Lacs – INR 5 lakh.

During NITJ placements in 2023, 554 job offers have been made as of now. The highest and average package offered was INR 51 LPA and INR 12.44 LPA, respectively during placements at NIT Jalandhar. No, admission to BTech at NIT Jalandhar is only through JEE Main. Aspirants fulfilling the eligibility requirements can fill out the JEE application form by visiting the NTA website (nta.ac.in). Candidates shortlisted on JEE score must take part in JoSAA counselling for seat allotment. If seats are left vacant after JoSAA, then those are filled through CSAB counselling. There is no other provision for admission to BTech.

NIT Jalandhar offers BTech courses across 13 specialisations. These are Bio-Technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Textile Technology, Information Technology, etc. The mode of study for all the programmes is full-time.

For admission to NIT Jalandhar, aspirants shall have secured a percentile between 80 – 98.73. This percentile is mentioned as per the past year's records and hence may vary. As the cutoff marks vary every admission year depending upon the entrance test. The required percentile for admission is mentioned in the cutoff lists released by the respective authorities. NIT Jalandhar offers a two-year full-time MBA course in the field of Humanities and Management. Admission to the MBA programme at NIT Jalandhar is done basis of CAT/MAT/CMAT score followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PwD) to be able to apply for the MBA course.
