In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 15759. In 2022, it increased to 17403. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 23738 to 23465 for OBC, 3324 to 2530 for SC, 146168 to 88615 for ST, 17787 to 18232 for EWS and 440 to 613 for PWD.

In terms of the highest average package, ECE was the top department during NIT Jalandhar placements 2023, with INR 18.22 LPA. However, the CSE department recorded the highest number of offers made and the count stood at 117. Earlier, CSE recorded the highest average package during NIT Jalandhar placements 2022 and the ECE department received the highest number of job offers.
