NIT Jalandhar - Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:The JEE Main score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of the entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

For 2022, the cut-off was 13678 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Information Technology in NIT Jalandhar - Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology. For female candidates in the general category under the All India quota, 22580 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The cutoff trend for BTech at NIT Jalandhar - Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology has been increasing in recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under the general category for all India quota was 52918. In 2022, it increased to 61760. Likewise, the cut-off ranks have changed from 67642 to 70617 for OBC, 162097 to 148320 for SC, 267285 to 260174 for ST, and 59157 to 72772 for EWS. For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering was 17403 which is very close to this range. This was for the general category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut-offs keep changing year on year, it's advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to NIT Jalandhar - Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology.

The last year’s 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at NIT Jalandhar - Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology other than the General category are - 23465 for OBC, 2530 for SC, 88615 for ST, 18232 for EWS, 613 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the general category under All India, opening rank was 18786 and closing rank was 26745. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of the home state. In All India, the opening and closing rank for female candidates was 25118 and 31985. Admission to BTech in Electrical Engineering at NIT Jalandhar - Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology is based on the scores.

For female candidates in the general category under the All India quota, 31985 was the closing rank. BTech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
