The admission in NITs are based on JEE-Main ranks and 12th marks. The minimum required percentage for admission in NITs at 12th level is 75%. First of all, it is one the rarest branches present in the country with lots of work and scope in the industry.

Most importantly, PSUs like BPCL HPCL GAIL hire ICE candidates directly from the campus through campus interviews and without GATE score.
So, I will recommend you just for ICE in NITJ.

The IT branch was closed after the 2014 batch and MHRD is planning to start in again in NITJ from this year or next year. You can search for 2014 data and get an idea about the cutoffs. Hope it will help you.
