The cutoff trend for B.Tech at NIT Jamshedpur has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 22174. In 2023, it decreased to 20752. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 27422 to 7158 for OBC 84025 to 3974 for SC 1529 to 1768 for ST 24612 to 3329 for EWS 1322 to 773 for PWDThis trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at NIT Jamshedpur has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 9277. In 2023, it decreased to 9204. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 12006 to 2749 for OBC 45514 to 1734 for SC 460 to 675 for ST 10593 to 1494 for EWS This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

NIT Jamshedpur will release 7-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 18054 and closing rank was 20752 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 27093 and 29194. Admission to Electrical Engineering in NIT Jamshedpur is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
