Both NIT Jamshedpur and NIT Nagpur are highly regarded institutions, but NIT Nagpur (VNIT Nagpur) generally has a stronger reputation for its Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) branch. It offers better infrastructure, faculty, and industry connections. However, both institutions provide excellent education, so consider factors like campus facilities, location, and personal preferences when making your decision.

Selected candidates are further allocated seat via JoSAA Counselling. Besides, admission to M.Tech and MSc courses is based on GATE and IIT JAM, respectively.
