If one has to compare both the university on the basis of establishment, then NIT kurukshetra is one of the oldly established NITs in 1963, whereas on the other hand NIT Mizoram is one of the newly established NITs in 2010. That is why NIT kurukshetra has a brand value. In addition to this, NIT Kurukshetra has an overall rating of 4.0/5 whereas NIT Mizoram has an overall rating of 3.6/5. Placements, academics, infrastructure, hostel facility and connectivity is much better at NIT Kurukshetra than NIT Mizoram.So if you get a choice between NIT Mizoram and NIT Kurukshetra, you can definitely go with NIT Kurukshetra. NIT Kurukshetra is definitely a better option than NIT Mizoram. University offers a highly qualified faculty under whose expertise one can learn and research efficiently. The admission process for both the university is same through JEE Mains score followed by JoSAA counseling. While NIT Mizoram is one of the newly established NITs in 2010, the NIT kurukshetra is one of the premier institutes of engineering established in 1963.It has been ranked 50th in the Engineering category by NIRF 2022. The institute offers a range of courses, including BTech, MTech, MBA, MCA, PhD, and certificate programs in various specializations.

No, for B.Tech NIT Kurukshetra is better than NIT Mizoram. NIT Kurukshetra is rated 4.0 out of 5 whereas the later is rated 3.6 out of 5.Even NIT Kurukshetra offers 11 courses and NIT Mizoram offers 7 courses. The average placement package in the former is 16 LPA and the later has an average package  of 8 LPA.

No, only through GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score admission to M.Tech Programme at NIT Kurukshetra is possible. Candidates must be GATE qualified to seek admission for the M.Tech programme at NIT Kurukshetra.

Valid GATE score is mandatory and the applicants have to submit their application through CCMT. The admission is made by GATE score, Preference filled during counseling and by seat availability. Relevant bachelor degree with eligibility for the candidates in particular and CCMT scheduled list should be followed for submitting their applications as well as counseling process.
