For the exact amount, it will be better for you to have a look at its official website, however considering ECE and mechanical branch of NIT-Kurukshetra, it is one of the top notch options. The average package of ECE is around 7-8 lacs and for mechanical is around 6-7 Lacs.

I would only say that CS IT people are having a boom. You can get a job easily as compared to other people if you belong to above mentioned branches.
They bag highest packages and their average package is more than 7 LPA and highest is more than 20 LPA (24 to be precise). Software giants Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Capgemini, TCS, IBM and many more.

Not sure about your state but you can definitely try for a better branch in home state or Colleges like DTU, Trichy, Surathkal.

All the branch are good at their own level it just depending upon your interest and devotion. now a days CSE is must demanding branch but still there is a scope for mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. so you may choose among them.

Yes, sure. You hold great chances for that. Well i can share my personal experience here. During my 12th passing year I scored 126 marks in JEE and I got E&C in NIT KUK under OBC and home state quota that very year. Although I dropped that opportunity for some better options.
So, the thing is that you hold chances for your desired college if you have a fair enough 12th percentage.
