NIT Meghalaya - National Institute of Technology Eligibility

For admission to MSc programme at NIT Meghalaya candidate must complete the institution's entrance standards, which include achieving a valid score in the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test for MSc followed by CCMN Counselling.  Also candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria i.e. Bachelor's degree with 60% aggregate.  NIT Meghalaya conducts its own admission process for the left over seats from the CCMN counselling process.

NIT Meghalaya offeres two years full-time MSc progarmme especially for the graduate students to pursue their studies in the fields of science. NIT Meghalaya admission to M.Tech programme must posses the following qualification:Bachelor's Degree with minimum 55-60% aggregate.A valid GATE score with CCMT counselling.  

To be considered for admission to the PhD programme at NIT Meghalaya, prospective students are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. These include having a minimum aggregate of 55% in their MA/MSc/BTech/MTech or equivalent degree, with relevance to the area of study, from a recognised university. In addition to this, candidates may also need to take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or the National Eligibility Test (NET), depending on the specific department they are applying to
