NIT Meghalaya offers good placements for its BTech courses annually. The course-wise placement details are yet to be released on the official website. NIT Meghalaya has released the placements record for 2023. As per the report the recruitng companies, including  Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, etc. participated in the placement drive offereing 199 jobs. The placements in CS and ECE department are very good with the highest package reaching to 55 lacs per annum. Regarding the security NIT Meghalaya has good security as I have seen in my stay here.

The student reviews about the placement in core branches are not so healthy for NIT Meghalaya. The scope of core branches like civil, electrical and mechanical is very limited and you might get one or two core company visiting campus and mostly the toppers get those jobs.
