For NIT Meghalaya, the admission criteria and cutoff marks may vary depending on the year and the category of the candidate.In the General category, you typically need to score a high percentile in entrance exams . To have a competitive chance, a percentile of around 97 or above may be required. However, please note that this is a rough estimate and the actual cutoff may vary.If you belong from other categories then as per sc it can be around 90-92 percentile in recent years 21 -22 this got little decrement as you can get in CSE even at 96 or 95 from general.

Yes, it is nice but you can’t get any NITs because now a days, competition is very high. Everyone is trying to get into NITs and IIITs, although there is a chance to get in GFFTIs and IIITs.

For admission in B.Tech mechanical engineering you have to clear JEE. The cuttoff varies as per the year in the year 22 batch they got at 95 even (general) if you are from categories like OBC/sc/st  it vary even up to 90/87/85. As in the same pattern, the cuttoff for female candidate is different.Admission requirements can vary from year to year and depend on various factors like students appering inJEEand no of seats avilable in collages. Few other factors like candidates droping from the college.
