Yes, MSc is available in NIT Nagaland. The programme is offered at a full-time mode. The MSc at NIT Nagaland is offered in a full-time mode that lasts for two years. The course curriculum is spread across four semesters. The MSc course is only offered in two major specialisations: Physics and Chemistry.

MTech fees at NIT Nagaland is around INR 5 lakh. The fee structure is cumulative of multiple components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, etc. Out of all these fee components, there are a few components that are charged one-time by NIT Nagaland.

National Institute of Technology Nagaland (also known as NIT Nagaland or NIT Dimapur) is one of the thirty-one NIT Colleges in India. It is among the top institute in North-East to have offered engineering degree. NIT Dimapur has been ranked 151-200 by NIRF 2024 under the 'Engineering' category. NIT Nagaland has a sanction of around 200 seats for admission in BTech programme. For admission at MSc, NIT Nagaland offers 20 seats with two specialisations and 2 years of course duration. The Institute offers 66 seats for admission at MTech including the 4 specialisations within the programme. The Institute also offers PhD in various specialisations along side the UG and PG level programmes.

NIT Nagaland offers specialisations in UG, PG and PhD level. Programmes such as Mechanical Engineering, CSE, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and more are offered in full-time mode on the basis of merit and entrance. Candidates qualifying the entrance exams and securing scores within the cutoff limit are shortlisted for further consideration. For NIT Nagaland BTech, candidates must secure a 75% in Class 12. Whereas, for courses such as MSc and MTech, candidates must secure 60% in graduation. NIT Nagaland considers JEE Main, IIT JAM, CCMN, GATE, CCMT, UGC NET etc. to shortlist candidates for admission.
