NIT Agartala is much better than NIT Nagaland. It was established in the year 1965 and recieved the tag of NIT in 2006. It is considered the second best institute in north east India after IIT Guwahati. The faculty members and facilities available here are much better than other NIT's. NIT Agartala has better infrastructure and also, have had good placement records. So, if you are looking for good placements, you should opt for NIT Agartala.

Yes. There are many scholarships available to the students of NIT Nagaland. Students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate or PhD programmes can avail these scholarships upon completion of various criterions. No, you cannot get direct admission in NIT Nagaland.A candidate must secure atleast 55% in Class XII in Science Stream. Secondly, candidate must clear JEE Mains exam for undergraduate admission and GATE for postgraduate programmes. Further, a candidate has to also appear for counselling to confirm their admission. BTech is offered in NIT Nagaland across 6 specialisations.

NIT Nagaland is a good option for pursing BTech. Joining NIT would be value for money. Almost 60% of the eligible candidates were able to secure a good placement in every year. The average salary recorded was around 8 LPA with the highest package in BTech in computer Science Engineering of about 20 LPA. NIT Nagaland is based in Dimapur, Nagaland. It has a sturdy infrastructure that provide access to a central library and clean classrooms and labs. The overall infrastructure is great. The hostel for boys and girls are seperate and the main building is close to them. There are immense facilities for sports in the campus with indoor activities including Table Tennis, badminton, chess and carrom for rejuvenation. The outdoor games include football and cricket. Students also have access to digital library. There is also a provision for ATM and medical facilities in the campus.

The cut off for Electronics and Communication Engineering in NIT Nagaland was JEE Mains rank of 55187 in the year 2021 and a minimum score of 95 percentile. The lowest package offered at NIT Nagaland went to as low as INR 3.25 LPA. The average package is around INR 8.09 LPA with top recruiters being McAfee, Deloitte, TCS and Capegemini. But, the highest package goes upto INR 20 LPA. A candidate getting a low package must not feel disheartened. Getting an experience is more important than just securing a good package. After attaining a good and decent experience, everyone can get a high paying job.

For pursuing a M.Tech Program in NIT Nagaland, candidate has to give GATE entrance exam. The average of admission into NIT Nagaland in the past years has been ranging between 500-700. The admission process after GATE clearance includes CCMT counselling after which a candidate can secure his/her seat in National Institute of Technology, Nagaland.
