According to media reports, the highest package offered was INR 45 LPA. Further, the lowest package stood at INR 6 LPA. Earlier, the highest package offered during NIT Patna placements 2023 and 2022 stood at INR 1.8 CPA and INR 52 LPA.

According to media reports, out of 703 registered students 560 were placed. The highest package offered was INR 45 LPA. Further, the lowest package stood at INR 6 LPA. The highest count of placements was observed in the Mechanical Engineering branch. Over 103 companies visited the institute campus. Diploma holders can apply for B.Tech in CSE at NIT Patna by appearing for JEE Main, as NITs do not offer lateral entry. Admission is only possible for the first year of B.Tech through JEE Main, regardless of a diploma qualification. Eligibility depends on the JEE Main score and meeting the required cutoff for NIT Patna's CSE program. Ensure to check category-specific cutoffs and requirements.

When one decides to do MCA (AI and IoT) in NIT Patna or NIT Raipur, one must consider faculty, infrastructure, and placements.1. The faculty, education quality and research output is good in NIT Patna. The MCA programme conceptualises digital technologies such as AI and IoT and has decent placement statistics; the companies offer starting packages of INR 6-12 LPA for brilliant performers.2. NIT Raipur also has a firm shifted MCA and had reasonable placements comparatively in the IT industry. The salary offered here is slightly lower with an average of Rs 4-8 LPA, but few students get better opportunities.

NIT Durgapur and NIT Patna offer Integrated MSc course lasting five years. The total tution fee for the five-year programme at NIT Durgapur is INR 75,000. The tuition fee for the Integrated MSc programme at NIT Patna is INR 6.25 Lacs for five years. Hence, it can be said that NIT Durgapur is more economical than NIT Patna for the Integrated MSc course. It must be noted that the mentioned fees are sourced from the official websites of the instituttes/sanctioning bodies. They are still subject to change and hence, are indicative.

Out of NIT Rourkela, NIT Patna and NIT Warangal, NIT Rourkela offers more Integrated BSc + MSc courses because they offer Integrated BSc + MSc for Life Science which is not offered by the other two colleges.NIT Patna and NIT Warangal both offer three Integrated BSc+MSc courses in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Therefore, if a candidate is looking to apply for a joint BSc and MSc in Life Science they should apply for NIT Rourkela.

Out of NIT Rourkela, NIT Patna and NIT Warangal, NIT Rourkela has the most affordable tuition fees of INR 75,000 which is to be paid over 10 semesters. The total tuition fee of NIT Patna and NIT Warangal is INR 6.25 Lacs and INR 1 lakh, respectively.However, this is not the only fee one has to pay throughout a semester. Extra costs like medical fees, student activity fee, hall establishment fee, etc. are also added in each semester.
