comparing both the colleges  here are the points to be noted down 1.NIT themselves are brand 2. they are runned by govts fund3.You always gonna find better palcement opportunities in an NIT and reputed gfti over other colleges4.comparing over iec the avg package thier is about twice or thrice thir avg package5.avg pacvkage at NIT hamirpur tops at 12 LPA meanwhilethe avg package here at IEC is just 4-56.the crowd over an NIT compared to any other colleges (except bits, iiits, and other such high level colleges)is much better compared7.the fact adjoined to such dominant colleges is that they provide a boost of opportunity.8 if you are good at coding and not getting higher branchat such college go with a light weight branch that could provide you an ample amount of oppportunities being light at subjects and take coding in parallel maintaing CGPA at good. you can definetly make to interviews without that much of compromise
