Earlier, the the highest and average package offered during NIT Silchar placements 2022 stood at INR 44 LPA and INR 13.58 LPA, respectively. Further, more than 94 companies visited the campus and 397 students were placed during NIT Silchar placements 2022. Apart from this, the top recruiters during NIT Silchar placements 2022 included Amazon, Microsoft and Adobe.

Around 620 students were placed out of 800 eligible students during NIT Silchar placements 2024.
