Considering the latest cutoff trends and difficulty of examination PEC University Chandigarh is one of the best choices for students. If you want to pursue your degree from a reknowned institution PEC University Chandigarh and NIT Srinagar both offers various specializations. But since more students prefer NIT so it is quite difficult to secure a seat at NIT. Therefore, for back up admission option you must always keep PEC University Chandigarh admission open.

The NIT Srinagar JEE Mains Cutoff 2024 was released for Round 1. The Cutoff was released for different specialisations across different categories. For the ST AI category candidates, the most competitive course was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, with the closing Cutoff of 1031. The easiest specialisation was BTech in Metallurgical and Materials engineering. The Cutoff ranks ranged between 1031 and 2981 for the same. The cutoff for NIT Srinagar's BTech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme differs each year. In 2023, the Round 1 and Last Round closing ranks for General All India category applicants were 24006 and 20540, respectively. In 2022, these rankings were 23915 and 17811, respectively. The starting rank for CSE in Jammu & Kashmir reserved seats was 523, with a closing rank of 1199 in 2023. Furthermore, the total cutoff for JEE Main at NIT Srinagar spans between 3161 and 6551.

NIT Srinagar MSc cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the MSc cutoff score ranged between 1535 and 1554 for the General AII India category students. Among all the MSc courses, M.Sc. in Chemistry is the most competitive specialisation. NIT Srinagar accepts GATE score, followed by the CCMT Counselling process for M.Tech admission. NIT Srinagar GATE cutoff 2024 has been concluded. As per the NIT Srinagar 2024 cutoff, the last round closing rank for M.Tech in Mechanical System Design was 359 for the General All India category students. The National Institute of Technology Srinagar offers a four-year full-time BTech courses covering several specialisations (branhces) at the UG level. During NIT Srinagar cutoff 2024 for General All India Category, the last round closing ranks ranged between 26741 and 65513, among which CSE was the most competitive branch considering its low cutoff. It depends upon which branch you want to get in.
If you want to get into CSE or IT here, then you need to score minimum 170 or more marks in JEE Mains.
And for other core branch(Mechanical, Electrical, civil etc) you need 150 or more marks.
Actually it varies every year.
In 2021 some students of general category got admitted into NIT Srinagar scoring 110 or more (In special round) in Chemical and metallurgy Branch.
But some students of CSE are also studying here who got 200 or more marks in JEE Mains.
So i think if you want to get into this college then minimum 150 or more marks is safe side in JEE Main for a general category student.
If you want to get into CSE or IT here, then you need to score minimum 170 or more marks in JEE Mains.
And for other core branch(Mechanical, Electrical, civil etc) you need 150 or more marks.
