Going as per the past three year trends candidates can expect the closing ranks for NIT Surathkal JEE Main cutoff 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment for top specialisations between the following range: B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering must range between 3404 and 4554B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering must range between 618 and 1594B.Tech. in Information Technology must range between 1650 and 2652B.Tech. in Computational and Data Science must range between 2966 and 3329

NIT Surathkal cutoff is based on JEE Main scores followed by the JoSAA Counselling and later by CSAB Counselling. NIT Surathkal JEE Main cutoff for admission to BTech courses has been released upto Round 8. Candidates seeking admission to NIT Surathkal must have a valid score in order to be eligible for the Counselling. It is also mandatory to register for JoSAA Counselling as well as CSAB Counselling. The cutoff trend for B.Tech at NIT Surathkal has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 25078. In 2023, it decreased to 23632. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 34699 to 8409 for OBC, 76541 to 4193 for SC, 789 to 1001 for ST, 32563 to 3735 for EWS, and 460 to 634 for PWD.This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

NIT Surathkal will release 7-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:The JEE Main score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per NIT Surathkal JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 23632 for General category candidates in All India quota for Civil Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 33071 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 2588 and closing rank was 2973 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 3285 and 4161. Admission to Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning in NIT Surathkal is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
