No, the admission is purely granted based on GATE scores and performance in CCMT counselling. Candidates who score marks greater than or equal to the cutoff marks become eligible to take part in the counselling. There is no other selection round.

Candidates seeking admission shall apply for GATE through the COAPS portal and take the entrance exam.
