1st years are supposed to stay in the hostel after 7:30 PM. 2nd year to 4th-year boys don't have a time limit.
Girls' Hostel block time is different. All girls should enter hostel within 11 PM. For any exceptions, you need to take prior permission. As such, there is no particular timetable in the hostel, but time for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner is fixed by the mess.

CET rank doesn't matter for NIT-K admission. Only JEE Mains rank matters.

Mechanical Engineering at NIT, WARANGAL is really a good option. It falls under top 10 institutes of India plus the faculty and exposure is more. The placement are good and also an incubation garage is there for students to implement there great ideas.

Your mode of application will be online but you will have to come to India for writing the entrance exam as there are no exam centres for COMEDK outside India. Since you're Indian by birth, all your processes will be conducted as an Indian student. For example, your fees will be the same as Indian students and will be calculated in INR. The most important thing which will treat you as normal Indian student is if you have an Indian Birth Certificate. Also, follow the link below for further details:

For mining branch, the on-campus placements are very low, it's less than 30% and even low for the batches I saw. None of my friends from Mining department got placed in the campus and many of them have pointer 8.5+. Later, they got jobs through off-campus placements, that's a different story.
