Board percentages may be helpful in your admission. ST cutoff will be lower than others. Your chances of mechanical looks almost 50-50 to me as your JEE scores may not be sufficient enough but your ST category may help. You can try for other colleges like MNNIT ALLAHABAD, SVNIT SURAT, etc. I can be more certain about the answer once your ranks are out. All the best. Cheers!

You might be able to get admission under state quota. Since the cut off for your category is higher than the past two years, you might not be able to get higher branches like ECE,CSE,EEE and IT

Without knowing your boards score it is difficult to say whether you will get admission to CSE. But if you have state quota with decent board marks you will defenitly get the branch you want at NITK.

I believe JEE score is not the only criteria but your board score also is considered. But if your board score is descent, I believe you may get into branches like civil, metallurgy, mining, etc. Of course this varies if you are from minority quota. Try your best. Otherwise other colleges are also there where you can easily get more desired branches like ECE, EEE, IT etc. You may try for that also.
