The answer depends on various aspects such as the NIT you want to go for, branch you are interested in, etc. but rank around 1 to 2 lakh also can get you into some NIT in some branch, ofcourse not a reputed NIT such as NITK, NITT, NITW, etc. Let the rank be generated, till the decide your branch. and then go for admissions. all the best

There is no specific limit. but as far as i know 180-190 should be a decent score assuming your board marks are good enough. A rank around 4000-6000 can be maximum cutoff expected.

Your score is decent and OBC cutoff may be low. CSE doesn't seem to be 'not achievable'. But if not CSE you can always get into IT if you like coding.

Ofcourse. If you are dedicated enough getting a job is pretty easy. All you need is dedication towards the field. Work on your interest from very early time, to add up thing to your resume. study well for exams. keep decent pointers above 7.8-8 and prepare for interviews. you are there! all the best

For OBC around 145 is a safe score assuming your board score is decent enough. But this varies every year. So don't loose hope. Try for NITK MECH. you may get it. cheers!

157 some how may not be good enough for general category and without state quota. I still think that depends upon the competition and interest of people above you. but even if you don't get in to mechanical NITK, don't loose your hope. There are plenty of other colleges like NIT Allahabad or Rourekela that you can get into and build an outstanding career. Even though NITK looks a tough nut, all the best for your future endeavors.
